Renting a Car at Valencia Airport
Last updated: April 2026
Valencia Airport (VLC) serves Spain's third city and the gateway to the Costa Blanca's northern stretch. Rental desks are in the arrivals hall β Hertz, Europcar, Avis, Goldcar, Centauro, and Record Go are present. Valencia is a foodie city (birthplace of paella) with a relaxed Mediterranean vibe, and a rental car opens up the Albufera wetlands, PenΓscola, and the inland wine country of Utiel-Requena.
π― Quick Tip
Valencia's City of Arts and Sciences has free parking beneath the Umbracle gardens β one of the few free central parking spots in a major Spanish city. Use it as your base and walk to the Aquarium, Science Museum, and Opera House.
